The KRONOS Editor and KRONOS Plug-in Editor are applications for Macintosh and Windows that allow you to edit the KRONOS's Set List, Combination, Program, Wave Sequence, Drum, and Global settings, as well as Sequencer mode sounds and effects for multi-timbral use (editing of MIDI and audio data is not supported). 

•The KRONOS Editor is a stand-alone editor/librarian. 
•The KRONOS Plug-in Editor is compatible with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) and other applications which have support for the VST and AU audio plug-in formats. (32-bit plug-in only. This plug-in is not currently available in 64-bit)

KRONOS system version 3.1.0 adds functionality for a new Quick Layer/Split feature. The KRONOS Editor version 3.1 adds support for these new features.

System requirements

KRONOS Requirements 
Version 3.1 of the KRONOS Editor and Plug-In Editor requires KRONOS System Version 3.1.0 or later. 

Computer Hardware Requirements 
The KRONOS Editor's hardware requirements are minimal compared to today's typical systems and you should be able to run the software on any of the specified operating systems. 

Mac OS 
•OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 
•512 Megabytes of memory (2 GB or more is recommended) 
•Any processor capable of running the OS (Intel Mac, Core Duo or better is recommended) 
•32-bit graphics card 
•A monitor with 1024 x 800 graphic resolution (the software will display on smaller monitors but not optimally) 
•A free USB port or MIDI interface

Notes

The software is designed to run as a single instance on the computer. Consequently, it is not possible to simultaneously edit more than one KRONOS from a given computer at a time. 

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion compatibility note: 
USB MIDI OUT transfer speed is limited when using the KORG USB-MIDI Driver under Lion. Data dumps with the Editor will take longer than expected. Upgrading to OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks or 10.10 Yosemite fixes this issue. 

KORG USB-MIDI Driver 
The KRONOS Editor requires the KORG USB-MIDI Driver.
